Community Resources for MS

MSAA Toll-Free Helpline

A toll-free Helpline allows individuals with MS, family members, care partners, and friends, to speak directly with one of MSAA’s experienced consultants who have a social services or counseling background.

MSAA’s Helpline may be reached by calling: (800) 532-7667, ext. 154, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET.

Aquatic Therapy Classes

The unique qualities of water provide exceptional benefits to people with MS. Water helps people with MS move in ways they may not be able to on land. We encourage all of you to take advantage of a wonderful aquatic therapy resource at A.D. Barnes Pool.

The pool is equipped with aquatic wheelchairs, ramps for entering, and an aquatic chair lift and classes are $3.00.

The NSCFF Circle

The NSCFF Circle is a unique opportunity for those with Multiple Sclerosis to partake in monthly meetings for sharing, venting, and supporting one another. Meetings led by our Social Work Department are held on the last Wednesday of every month at the NSCFF corporate offices (2150 Coral Way, 8th Floor) at 6:30 PM.

In this circle you are guaranteed honesty, empathy, support, understanding, and knowledge to help you forge ahead in your life’s journey with MS.
